Evaluation 7: Looking back at your preliminary task what do you think you have learnt in the progression from it to your final production
The contents page of my print prelim is in three sections which in itself breaks generic conventions of professional practice. It is in columns and boxes rather than lines and does not follow any kind of pattern. There is a huge improvement from this product to my final product. I have learnt how to use photoshop properly and taken a great deal more care with the photography and the layout of the contents and front cover. I also made a double page spread which I did not in the prelim. The small things are a lot more neat on my final product which resembles professional practice in comparison to my early attempt of a magazine.

Evaluation 4- What would be the audience for your media product?
This is a mood board of my target audience for my media product. The magaizne would be suitable for both males and females who enjoy listening to house music. The genre has only recently started to become more popular with the female genre which works well for the males as well as the models can then often by objectified. The main age would be 18- 24 years old. They would have to be interested in fashion, music and attending festivals and holidays in clubbing locations such as Ibiza and Magaluf. They would have to enjoy listening to music on a regular basis and look forward to finding new music. Night clubs would be a popular visit on a regular occasion. The target audience would be good looking and interested in keeping fit and tanned.

Rough Cut Feedback
This is my feedback from my class mates when I presented my rough cut of my magazine. There is some constructive criticisms on how I can improve my magazines layout and over all appearance. The general feedback was that the majority thought that my photo's were the strong element of my magazine. They liked the layout and reece of the photos. Many commented that they liked the colours that I have used throughout the magazine and agree that they connote the genre of music my magazine is about. The mast head has also being complemented. However, some ideas that my class mates had would be to add some stokes to my sell lines as they are difficult to see and also to perhaps add some brushes to dead space on the double page spread or a quotation. Another suggestion would be to add a background colour. I will look into these ideas and continue to develop my magazine in order to meet the deadline in five weeks.

Front Cover shoot
I think this shot of Poppy will be perfect for my magazine. Her personality being wild and daring really comes through in this shot. She appears to have attitude and this mirrors the genre of music that features in my magazine 'Space'. The outfit does reflect summer and holiday fashion as it is a flowery jumpsuit. It is not what I had organised before the shoot however, I am still very pleased with the costume. The hairstyle of Poppy mirrors that of the RnB star Rihanna, and the colour shows connotations that she is passionate yet also could be dangerous.
These poses mirror iconic poses of the RnB star Rihanna and this may make more people be interested in my magazine. The pose is fun and cute drawing in a large audience. The model is featured to the left of the frame leaving room down the right for the sell lines if this was to feature on the front cover of my magazine. This is ideal as people read left to right and would therefore instantly be drawn to the image.
In this shot I like the fact that the wedged heals are in the shot as it shows a quirky yet fashionable sense of style as style runs along paralel to the music industry. The pose of the model is attractive and fun, it makes the readers wonder the story of the model.
This close up of Poppy offers a different view of the model. It emphasises her bright makeup and attractive face. Her hair and lipstick clearly go well together and her dark eyes make a connection to the camera. On the other hand I do not think that this photo would be ideal for a front cover as it is not portrait and I do not think that the composition of the image would work well on a front cover.
I really like this photo especially the personality filled pose that Poppy is doing. It shows her club braclets which would show the audience that the model is also inline with the genre of music that the magazine is promoting.
Double Page Spread Shoot
This photo of Georgia is pretty, sexy and mysterious. She looks as though she is rebellious as her cigerette is hanging out of her mouth. Her hair is ruffled as though she has being clubbing. Her denim shirt and broach is quirky and individual which seperates her from conformity and makes people notice her and perhaps aspire to be like her.
I like this photo of Jess and Georgia which I took on a night out in Sunderland. The pair look like they are having fun together and enjoying each others company on the night out. They look fashionable also and there makeup is black eyes and clear skin.
I do not like this picture as much as it appears not to be focused on anything. It is a random shot of a night out and I do not think it reflects the messages that I am trying to portray about clubbing. Also the outfits are not as light as I would have hoped. However, I am extremely pleased with the hairstyles in this shot, and also I like the fact that the model Georgia, has her stomach out as it reinforces the holiday heat/ free personality.
These are pictures that I have taken during the holidays in different clubs. I decided to take my camera out on location in order to make the photographs more realistic so that I could incorporate them into my magazine. All photos include my model Georgia as she was intended to feature on one of my contents page pictures.
This high angled shot of Jessica shows her dancing and having fun. She is in a club having a good time. The only thing that I am unsure about is the costume of Jessica i do not think that this picture I took in Sunderland reflects the fashion that I aimed to use for my magazine.
